Welcome to Trezor®
Trezor® hardware wallets are the safest way to store and manage cryptocurrencies. Trezor.io/Start® is your official guide to initializing your device, securing your recovery seed, and managing Bitcoin, Ethereum, and thousands of other crypto assets.
Step 1 — Install Trezor Suite
Download Trezor Suite from the official Trezor website. Available for desktop and web platforms.
Install the application and launch it. Always verify you are using the official app to prevent phishing attacks.
Step 2 — Connect Your Device
Connect your Trezor device via USB or supported connection method.
Verify the device's authenticity on the screen and follow the instructions to either create a new wallet or restore an existing one.
Step 3 — Secure Your Recovery Seed
During setup, your Trezor device will display a 12- or 24-word recovery seed. Write it down and keep it offline in a safe place.
Never share your recovery seed with anyone. It is the only way to recover your wallet if your device is lost or damaged.
Step 4 — Add Cryptocurrency Accounts
Open Trezor Suite and add accounts for supported cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and others.
Send, receive, and monitor balances securely. All transactions are signed directly on the hardware device to ensure maximum safety.
Security Best Practices
- Keep your recovery seed offline and private.
- Verify every transaction on your Trezor device.
- Use only official Trezor software and links.
- Update Trezor Suite regularly to access the latest features.
